Moroccan Lentils


I love to cook  and share some of the things I come up with while I play on my "Lab Day's". Here is  Moroccan Lentils.  Feel free to change this to your dietary needs or what you like! I hope you enjoy it!

Moroccan Lentils


· 2 Medium yellow onion chopped
· 5 Garlic cloves chopped
· 2 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
· 1/2 cup of White Wine
· 1 (28oz) of diced tomatoes
· 2 cups of dried lentils
· 1/2 Tablespoon of chopped fresh Ginger
· 1 teaspoon of Curry
· 1/2 teaspoon of Cumin
· 1/2 teaspoon of ground Cardamom
· 1/2 teaspoon of ground Coriander
· 1/4 teaspoon of Black Pepper
· Red Pepper to taste
· 7 cups of Chicken or Vegetable broth


1. Sauté onions & garlic in olive oil till the yellow onions are translucent. Add white wine and let it cook for a few minutes, just enough to cook the alcohol out.  Add tomatoes, spices, lentils and broth, bring to a boil, then cover and turn the heat down to a simmer for about 45 minutes.
2. Serve with rice
